Description

Wagwear Dog Boots – WagWellies Mojave

These ventilated Wagwear Dog Boots help to protect your dog’s paws against hot pavement, glass and other objects left behind on the beach, sharp river rocks, insect stings, AND they are non-slip to provide stability and traction. ⁣ The perforated holes allow lots of ventilation.

The open slits make them easy to slide off and on, while also creating a secure fit that will stay put even while on the run.

The patented design is sleek, sturdy, and, most importantly, comfortable, making for the perfect paw protection. Sold as a set of 4.

Dog shoes can definitely seem a little silly at first, but consider this…YOU CAN FRY AN EGG ON PAVEMENT IN 5 MINUTES when the surface reaches 55 degrees Celsius. That happens when the outside air temperature is around 30 degrees. ⁣

Superior Form and Fit

The Wagwellies® Mojave are made of 100% durable rubber, making them SO easy to clean! They are super lightweight and breathable (thanks to the perforated holes) to ensure your pup’s ultimate comfort. Whether your dog is running on a rocky trail or jumping and frolicking in water, the velcro straps create a secure fit without restricting their movement!

Protection from Hot Pavement

With summer around the corner, it’s time to begin taking protective measures for paw safety. Concrete and asphalt can reach extreme temperatures of 70-80 degrees due to their high capacity for heat. Oh my dog! We often don’t realize it because we are wearing shoes, but these temperatures will easily burn your dog’s paw pads! Pop on a pair of Wagwellies® Mojave on your adventures to keep the walks enjoyable and stress-free.

Bold and Exciting Colours

Function meets fashion–level up your dog’s summer fashion without sacrificing functionality.
Blue, Neon Green, Pink, Orange, Purple, Sage Green & Black – Now also in SAND & RED!

PRO TIP: When you go outside with your dog, remember the 7 seconds rule. Press your hand against the surface your dog will be walking on for 7 seconds. If it’s too hot for your hand – you know it’s going to be too hot for dog paws!

How to measure wagwellies

Many dogs have different size front and back paws. Often back paws are smaller than front paws. Not all dogs have front paws which are larger but it’s really important to check this as some dogs will need a smaller size on the rear paws.

Wearing the incorrect size can not only be uncomfortable for the dog but can cause wear and pressure in the wrong areas and cause damage to the boots.

*Getting a dog used to wearing boots is a process. It is very normal to see an amusing high-step in the beginning. This is because they can’t feel the floor and it throws off their coordination, they need time to re-coordinate themselves. It may even take getting them outside and on with the walk before they start to realize that they can in fact walk & run as usual.

Care Instructions – WagWellies

After removing excess dirt, soak in warm water and dish soap for 15 minutes. Use a toothbrush to get off any tough stains. If stains persist, try covering stain with toothpaste or a paste of baking soda and water, let sit for 5 minutes, scrub using toothbrush and repeat the first step as needed.
